  • Executive members whose flight have been cancelled can choose avios instead of a voucher. Avios as an alternative to cash paid for your booking means a 100% bonus compared to standard rate avios. This offer cannot be applied where a voucher or cash refund has been previously requested. Also once the avios offer is chosen, you cannot subsequently convert to a voucher or cash refund.

British Airways 24 Hour Cancellation

You can cancel your British Airways booking through the official website (ba.com) or call at Britsh Airways cancellation number +1-855-948-3805 within 24 hours for a full refund provided travel is one week or more from the date of purchase. If the call center is closed the 24 hours deadline is extended to 48 hours.

Compensation for Delayed or Cancelled Flights

Some circumstances may make you claim compensation for delayed or cancelled flight. The following qualifies you for compensation.

  • If you are delayed at your final destination by more than 3 hours and that delay is caused by reasons within our controls rather than extraordinary circumstances.
  • If you are informed of a cancellation less than 14 days before the planned departure date that arises from causes within our control rather than circumstances that could not be avoided.
